Review: Eclos Cleansing Oil

Hey ya'll today I'm reviewing a Eclos Cleansing oil by Freeman. This cleansing oil retails for $10.99 at Ulta, and with the coupons and rewards offered from Ulta this is a good deal.  You may have heard of Eclos before, Eclos is a skincare brand that use Apple Stem Technology for Anti- Aging benefits that was founded in Uttwiler Spatlauber. All Eclos products are also formulated without Parabens, synthetic dyes, sulfates, mineral oil or petroleum, and synthetic fragrances, this product also isn't tested on animals, and is made in the U.S.A.. This cleanser is also soap-free and non-comedogenic this means that the product won't clog your pores.Their products also state that 100% of 20 participants on the Apple Stem Cells experienced a decrease in wrinkle depth after 28 days. Personally though, I'm not worried about the anti-aging part considering I'm fairly young, I mainly just wanted to try a cleansing oil that wasn't the Garnier one which has mineral oil in it, but I do eventually want to try that one. Over all I really like this product, and what it claims, but now lets get to the nitty gritty.
These pictures show what the oil looks like before and after water is added
Texture:  The texture of this oil is a very liquidity oil, and a little goes along way. One pump can cover my face easily. The oil isn't as oily as coconut oil or olive oil, but is still oily.
Smell:I personally like the smell, but I feel like a lot of people could dislike the smell. The smell is very strong kind of herbally citrus smell. The smell is almost indescribable for me.
Directions: The way I find the best way to use this product is to put it into dry hands and rub into skin for 1-2 minutes like the bottle says, when taking it off I take a small towel and soak the towel in warm to hot water and then wring it out and put it on my face and press lightly on my skin, this will allow the pores to open and allow oil to get into your pores, and clean them out while also taking off the oil. Then rinse off your skin when water is added to the oil it turns into a milky cleanser.
How it Works: I LOVE this cleansing oil, It washes off my face very easily and leaves it soft, I also feel that it has improved the texture and color of my skin.  The only bad thing is I believe because of the anti-aging benefits, it has before made my skin feel tight, but after I applied my serum the tightness left. This could have also happened because I didn't wash it off completely, the tightness hasn't happened since the second day I used this. Over all I think their are more pros than cons.

DIY: Linen Spray Two Ways(Orange and Lavender)

Today I'm going to share with ya'll a recipe on how to make your own lavender and orange linen spray.  For the orange one you can use any essential oil you want so your linen spray could smell like sandalwood, chamomile, rose, or even vanilla. You may ask what a linen spray is, a linen spray is a spray used to make clothes, sheets and bed spreads, and furniture smell good. The way you use a linen spray is simply shake up the linen spray if their are oils separating, and then spray on clothing during ironing for a soft perfume, spray on hotel or home beds for a nice smell, or spray on furniture. Linen spray is very easy to make and needs very few ingredients. Lets get to it!

DIY Lavender Water or Linen Spray:
What you Need:
  • A spray Bottle
  • 4 Tablespoons of dried lavender
  • Some Coffee Filters
  • 1 cup of water
  • Optional: Lavender Essential Oil, vodka, and Distilled water to dilute the water if you think the smell is too strong.
Step 1: Put the cup of water in a pot and bring to a boil. Next take the water off the heat and add 4 Tablespoons of dried lavender buds.
Step 2: Let the lavender steep in the water for 5 to 20 minutes depending on how strong you want it I let mine steep for 20 and I think the smell was too strong. To keep the smell from taking over the house, I covered the pot with saran wrap and put an elastic headband around that to keep it close. If you want your house to smell like that than you could leave it open, but the main reason I didn't is because some people in my house don't like this floral smell.
Step 3: Put a coffee filter in a jar and let it droop in, then secure the outside with a rubber band. After the lavender is done steeping pour the liquid over the coffee filter, to separate the buds from the floral water. I went through a lot of filters because my jar was small and my filters were small, so I recommend a bigger jar or cup. Though the plus was each time I could squeeze out the excess liquid from the buds.
Step 4 (optional): This step is optional, but if your water is too strong, you can distilled water, I had half of a mason jar of floral water and added another half of mason jar full of distilled water, but make sure you keep mixing because if you don't you might add too much water and it be to subtle of a lavender smell. If your water is to subtle you can add a few drops of lavender essential oil and some vodka, the vodka keeps the essential oil from separating from the water.
Step 5: Add the water to your spray bottle and enjoy your new linen spray!

                  DIY Essential Oil Linen Spray:
What you Need:
  • 20-30 Drops of Essential Oils I used Orange
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons of Rubbing Alcohol or 2 Tablespoons of Vodka
  • A Spray Bottle
  • Distilled water
Step 1: Add 20-30 drops of essential oil to your spray bottle in the end I probably used about 30 drops, because the rubbing alcohol was very strong.
Step 2: Add the rubbing alcohol or vodka to the essential oil, if you use rubbing alcohol I would use slightly less, compared to vodka.
Step 3: Mix and swish around the essential oil and rubbing alcohol; together until combined.
Step 4: fill the rest of the spray bottle with Distilled Water, then shake up the mixture until combined. Then smell the mixture I found that the rubbing alcohol was very strong, and I ended up adding more essential oil. I ended up spraying the spray on a napkin and letting it dry, and found that the alcohol smell diminished when dry.

Step 5: Enjoy your new Linen Spray!

How to Groom a Rabbit

Hope y'all are having a great weekend! Today I'm going to teach y;all how to groom a rabbit, the rabbit in the pictures is my rabbit Snickers.  Grooming a rabbit can be difficult or easy depending on how cooperative your rabbit is.  In my case my rabbit can be difficult during this shoot she decided it would be nice to jump out of the bath tub 4 times and splash water all over the bathroom and some on the camera.  Though the washing the rabbit isn't even the hard part the hard part is drying the rabbit but we will get to that soon.
Lets just start out with what you will need.

What you need:
  • Rabbit Shampoo; $4.99 at most pet stores
  • Rabbit or cat brush: $5.00 at the most at most pet stores
  • Rabbit or dog nail clippers most people use rabbit but I find that dog clippers work best for me; rabbit clippers ar 45.99 at most pet stores
  • Two towels you will probably want to use ones you don't really care about

First put a towel on the floor of your bath tub, and then fill it with 1 inch of water at the most, and then place the rabbit in the tub and wet the rabbit but don't get it on his?her ears like I did.

Next put lather the shampoo through his/her fur .

Then wash all the shampoo out of the fur, by the end the rabbit should look like a mop.

Then slightly wring his/her fur on her feet, tail and body out.  And try to dry off her fur a lot, this could take a while so you might just want to blow dry it.
If you blow dry his/her fur than put the heat on low or medium on high power. Make sure you move the blow dryer around so you don't burn the rabbit.

Next after the rabbit is dry, brush his/her fur but don't press to hard because one time I cut her skin on accident :(.

Lastly to trim the rabbit's nails, first at the rabbits nails so you know were the quick is if the rabbit's nails are light like Snicker's nails than it is easier, but if they are dark than shine a light through them and then you should be able to see them. After all this you could give your bunny a treat such as some banana or a strawberry.

~Hope you have a good week come back again~

How to sanitize your makeup

Today I'm gonna teach you how to sanitize your makeup, sanitizing your makeup can not only be better for you it also makes the shelf life of your makeup longer. Sanitizing your makeup is very easy and takes maybe 5 minutes at the most. You can sanitize everything from cream to powder makeup, you can also even sanitize your lipstick and lip gloss. Now lets get to how you do it and what you will need.

What you'll need:

  • Makeup of course, this can include anything pressed(eyeshadow, blush, bronzer, powder, etc.), this can also include lip products, and creme eyeshadow, blushes, or eyeliner
  • Paper towels or toilet paper
  • Cotton Balls
  • Rubbing Alcohol I used 70% but you can also use 90%
  • Spray Bottle
You can get all these things at Walmart for under $10.00
First thing you need to do is put the Alcohol into the spray bottle

     How to Sanitize Lip Gloss:

First you will need to spray the applicator of the lip gloss with the alcohol, you can also spray the actual stick

After you spray the applicator of the lip gloss wipe of the applicator and the stick with a paper towel or toilet paper.
Then leave the applicator out to dry until you don't smell any more alcohol this could take from 1-5 minutes.

How to Sanitize your lipsticks(I also used this method to sanitize my Baby Lips):

First open your lipstick and spray whatever part of the lipstick that has been used. After you spray the bullet tip the lipstick upside down so no alcohol gets into the actual tube, but if this happens after the bullet has time to dry which could take from 30 seconds to 1 minute, close this lipstick up and tip it upside down so the alcohol can drain out.
After you have sprayed the bullet dry it of and let dry for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

   How to Sanitize pressed makeup:

First wipe off the top layer of the pressed makeup to get oil off the makeup.
Next spray your pressed makeup with the alcohol and let the eyeshadow dry open for 5-10 minutes.

How to Sanitize your creme makeup:

First spray the makeup with the alcohol.

Then wipe the makeup with a cotton ball and let it dry for 1-3 minutes.

~Hope you try this out and leave a comment if you'd like.
